The Working Guitarist Blog are the thoughts, experiences, revelations, tips and guitar gear reviews from working professional guitarists who are out there, playing the guitar for their livelihood. The purpose of this blog is to share information that is relevant and useful to other working and aspiring guitarists.

Tom is a Berklee College of Music alumnus and has worked as a union session guitarist and arranger in Chicago and Fort Wayne, Indiana and is the first call guitarist for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra. Tom has performed, recorded and toured with The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra,  several national blues, roots, and jazz artists including Bill Lupkin, Big Time Sara, Lefty Diz, Fenton Robinson, Jane Baxter Miller, Ken Vandermark, Buddy Guy, Willie Smith (Muddy Waters),  Sam Lay (Howlin’ Wolf) and Nick Moss. Tom is currently touring and recording with Chicago blues harp player Bill Lupkin. Tom is also the first call guitarist for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra
